With the game-winning goal to help Barcelona defeat Real Betis 2-1 and move eight points ahead atop the La Liga standings, Robert Lewandowski is back for the Blaugrana and wouldn’t have it any other way. No one attempted to advance and score goals during the opening 45 minutes of play. That changed immediately after intermission, and with 30 minutes remaining, the game really picked up.

On the 65th minute, Raphinha, who had trouble controlling the ball the entire game, scored the game’s first goal after connecting with Alex Balde’s cross to give Barcelona the lead. Then Lewandowski supplied a striker’s finish on the second to put the game away, demonstrating his value to the Barcelona attack during his three-match suspension.
