RCB Full Squad: WPL Auction 2023 – RCB have break bank on potential ‘captain’ Smriti Mandhana for 3.4 Crore. They also roped in Ellyse Perry for 1.7CR. Indian fast bowler Renuka Singh joined the ranks of Karnataka-based side for 1.2cr. Richa Ghosh was acquired for 1.9CR. Red and Gold Army also got bargain price on Sophie Devine for 50 lakhs. Mike Hesson, RCB Director of Cricket, in the presser: “Everyone knows Mandhana and Perry, we were pretty committed to the couple of people we wanted to get. we’re very happy to get such quality players. it’s a dream result for us to get Mandhana, Perry and Devine. Smriti has got plenty of captaincy experience and is familiar with the Indian conditions so highly likely [she’ll be captain]”

RCB WPL Squad: Team Owners

The Bangalore franchise was bought by Royal Challengers Sports Private Limited for Rs 901 crore. The group is owned by United Spirits which was acquired by the Diageo group. The company sells premium alcohol and is India’s leading alcohol beverage company. They also own the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL. The franchise is yet to taste success after 15 seasons.

RCB WPL Squad: Auction Purse

Like all teams, RCB will enter the Auction with a purse of Rs 12 crore. The franchise can buy a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 18 players. Players base price ranges from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 50 lakh.
