Prithivi Shaw’s disastrous form continues in the Indian Premier League 2023 when the batter was dismissed without disturbing the scoreboard. Deciding to take an early single run and then hesitating in the middle led the Mumbai batter to be yards out when the ball rocked the stumps at the bowler’s end. However, the pure credit for the dismissal goes to the fielder, Anuj Rawat of RCB.

Prithvi Shaw Dismissal

Brilliance in the field is pretty common in the shortest format of the game and the Indian Premier League has been no exception for the same. RCB breathed fire on their opponent to grab an early dismissal against Delhi Capitals. Mohammed Siraj pitched a good length delivery to Prithvi Shaw who managed to push it right into the cover.

Shaw rushed forward to take a single run after playing the shot on his backfoot. The young batter hesitated for a brief moment in the middle of the pitch. Anuj Rawat on the other hand dived to his right to stop a stunning run. After executing the one handed stop he threw the ball to the bowlers’s end in a rather no look throw.

Shaw was yards away from crossing the crease as the ball dislodged the stumps and the batter made his way back to the pavilion.
