In addition to his cricketing skills, Jadeja is also known for his fitness and discipline. He is one of the fittest players in the Indian team. Despite his injury, Jadeja has remained positive and has been working hard to regain his fitness. Ravindra Jadeja has not played any international match since July 2022. He will be eager to return to team India and show why he is known as one of the best all-rounders.

India’s ace all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is all set to return to Team India. He has returned to National Cricket Academy for a fitness test. He will undergo the mandatory Yo-Yo test and the newly mandated DEXA test. If everything goes well, Jadeja will return for the India vs NewZealand ODI series. Jadeja is still recovering from knee surgery.

“Jadeja is doing better. He is at the NCA for the fitness tests. Once he clears the tests and injury assessment, he will get clearance from the NCA. If he is available for selection, he should return for the New Zealand series,” a senior BCCI official told InsideSport.

As things stand, Jadeja is nearing the completion of his rehab. He will undergo fitness assessment at the NCA under physio Nitin Patel. Once he gets clearance from the NCA, he will be eligible for selection.

“Everyone has to get clearance from the NCA to be available for selection. BCCI’s own medical team will decide whether the player is fit enough. Jadeja is doing fine now. We did not want to risk him earlier as he was not yet at 100%,” the BCCI official said.
