Ranji Trophy Round 4, DAY 4 Live – Delhi vs Saurashtra & Mumbai vs TN, Maharashtra vs Assam: Karnataka registered a comprehensive 7 wicket win over Chhattisgarh on the final day of the Ranji Trophy Round 4. On the other hand Mumbai despite dominating Tamil Nadu were unable to register victory as the match ended in a draw. Defending champions Madhya Pradesh beat Vidarbha by 205 runs with Avesh Khan completing 10 wicket haul in the match.

After picking up 7 wickets in the first innings, Khan bagged five wicket haul in second innings to finish the match with 11 wickets. In another match Goa beat Kerala by 7 wickets. Ishaan Gadekar remained unbeaten on 66 runs to take the team to victory . In the Andhra Pradesh vs Hyderabad match, KV Sasikanth produced a match winning spell of 5/68 to help Andhra beat Hyderabad by 154 runs.

Mumbai vs Tamil Nadu: Mumbai were unable to pull off victory against Tamil Nadu on the final day as the match at Brabourne stadium ended in a draw.  After bowling out Tamil Nadu for 144 in the first innings,  Mumbai piled up 481 runs with Sarfaraz Khan scoring yet another century. Tamil Nadu in their second innings staged fightback with Skipper Baba Indrajith, Pradosh Paul and Vijay Shankar scoring centuries. Chasing 212 runs for victory, Mumbai finished their second innings at 91/1.

Saurashtra vs Delhi: In Saurashtra vs Delhi match, Saurashtra crushed Delhi by 214 runs. Skipper Jaydev Unadkat was the star of the match in the first innings with 8 wicket haul. Arpit Vasavada top scored for Saurashtra in the first innings with an unbeaten 152 runs as Saurashtra declared their first innings at 574.  In the second innings  Yuvrajsinh Dodiya produced five star performance  to bowl out Delhi for 227 runs. The off spinner finished the innings with figures of of 5/91 . For Delhi Hrithik Shokeen top scored with 51 runs in second innings.

Karnataka vs Chhattisgarh: Century from skipper Mayank Agarwal in the first innings followed by five wicket haul from Vijaykumar Vyshak in Chhattisgarh’s second innings saw Karnataka register 7 wicket win on the final day.  After bowling out Chhattisgarh for 311 runs in the fist innings, Karnataka scored 366 runs in their first innings.   Chhattisgarh in their second innings could only score  177 runs as Karnataka chased down the target of 122 runs losing just 3 wickets.

MP vs Vidarbha: Avesh Khan produced magical spell with the ball to guide Madhya Pradesh to crushing victory over Vidarbha. The pacer picked up a total of 11 wickets in the match and help the team to comfortable victory. Rajat Patidar and wicketkeeper Himanshu Mantri scored centuries in first and second innings respectively.
