PVL 2022 LIVE Streaming – Prime Volleyball League LIVE: The wait for the Volleyball fans in the country is over. The much awaited season of Prime Volleyball League is starting today at 7PM. The Volleyball Federation of India (VFI) is still trying its best to ‘sabotage’ the start as they have announced their national championship. But with 13 sponsors in tow, Sony Sports Network & organizers Baseline Ventures are ready to roll the season tonight: Follow Prime Volleyball League LIVE on Sony Sports & LIVE Updates on InsideSport.IN

Kochi Blue Spikers will be up against Hyderabad Black Hawks on Saturday at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad.

The competition will be aired on the Sony network, Sony Ten 1, Sony Ten 2, Sony Ten 3 (Hindi), and Sony Ten 4 (Tamil and Telugu). The league will also be streamed live on Sony’s OTT platform SonyLIV.

“The timing of the senior nationals in Bhubaneswar from February 7 clashing with the PVL 2022 didn’t come as a surprise at all,” PVL CEO Joy Bhattacharjya said during a virtual media interaction on Friday.

“This is nothing less than sabotage by Volleyball Federation of India, they want to ruin the league”, said one of the coach involved with PVL Franchise on the condition of anonymity.

Prime Volleyball League LIVE – PVL 2022 Sponsors: PVL has roped in 13 sponsors ahead of its inaugural season. RuPay has signed on as the title sponsor, online gaming platform A23has come on board as ‘powered by’ sponsor.

Sports marketing firm Baseline Ventures, which has exclusive marketing rights to the league, has also roped in Byju’s, Cred, Dafa News, EatFit, Amul Kool and Nippon Paints as associate sponsors and Cosco as the official partner of the league.

India’s domestic volleyball tournament’s sponsorship portfolio also includes the leading sports, fitness, and lifestyle brand, Cosco and the hospital chain, Apollo Hospitals.

ShareChat, India’s leading social media platform, and Moj, the short video app, have joined as the official content partners of the competition.

After the success of the Pro Volleyball League in 2019, which was later shelved due to a legal tussle between the organisers and the Volleyball Federation of India, Baseline is partnering with a few original team owners to launch PVL.

Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN), which telecasted Pro Volleyball, has joined hands with the organisers to air the league this time too. “We have already seen the way Baseline delivered the product last time. The viewership gave us confidence that the game would do well,” said Rajesh Kaul, chief revenue officer distribution, international sales and business head sports, SPN.

“What owners and potential sponsors needed was a stable organisation, free of interference, that could function optimally and attract investments from franchises and sponsors. With franchises now being equal partners, we are not in a position to offer that stability,” Bhattacharjya said.
