The blast in Quetta occurred near Police Line which is situated around 4km away from Bugti Stadium. The blast was indeed a very unfortunate incident and that too when security was at high alert due to PSL Exhibition Match in Quetta.

On Sunday, there was an explosion close to the Quetta Police Lines area that injured at least five individuals, according to emergency personnel.
“As soon as the explosion happened, as a precautionary measure, the match was stopped and players taken to the dressing room for a while. Later, after the green signal, the match resumed,” a police official said.
According to Dawn.com, the injured people have been transported to the Civil Hospital in Quetta by Edhi employee Zeeshan Ahmed, who is in charge of the rescue effort on the scene.

Quetta Bomb BLAST
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), an outlawed organisation, took responsibility for the attack. It said that the explosive was aimed for security personnel.
The explosion occurs just days after a horrifying suicide bombing claimed over 80 people, predominantly police officers, in the Peshawar Police Lines region.
