The Head coach of Lahore Qalandars Aqib Javed was presented with a beautiful flower bouquet. Following the gifting of the bouquet, the skipper of the squad, Pakistani pacer and speedster Shaheen Afridi took the trophy and placed it near the feet of Javed as a mark of respect and tribute to their coach.
The entire team alongside their captain Shaheen Afridi has given absolute credit to their coach for the performance in the league and on them winning the silverware. The video showed an emotional and overwhelmed Aqib Javed slowly lifting the trophy with his hands and then kissing it.

Aqib Javed separated himself from the team and underwent isolation after testing positive for Covid-19. As a result, Lahore Qalandars was without their head coach Aqib Javed during their playoff games and also the all-important finale. Lahore Qalandars lifted their solitary silverware yesterday when they defeated the Multan Sultans by 42 runs.
