- Faulkner has been one of the consistent performers in PSL in the past two years. He has played Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators
- He took 13 wickets for Qalandars in the 2021 edition of PSL
- Faulkner picked three for 3 for 32 in his debut match in PSL 2021 edition
- He was signed by Quetta Gladiators in PSL 2022 season

The Pakistan Cricket Board later denied Faulkner’s allegation in a Twitter post.
“The PCB and Quetta Gladiators have regretfully taken note of Mr James Faulkner’s false and misleading accusations and will shortly be releasing a detailed statement on the matter,” it said.

Meanwhile, Quetta Gladiators are languishing at the bottom half of the points table. They are placed fifth with six points on board. Sarfaraz Ahmed-led team has to win two games and also hope other results go in their favor.
With Faulkner also gone, the team will be short of bowling firepower. Add to that, Gladiators will also miss his skills with the bat.
