On Sunday, Qalandars will take on Multan Sultans for the grand finale at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Rashid Khan is currently in Bangladesh, playing against the Tigers for Afghanistan. Though the Qalandars tried flying him out for the grand finale, the spinner has rejected their approach.

Rashid’s absence can prove to be costly for the Qalandars since he was in sublime rhythm. The 23-year-old picked up 13 wickets in the 9 matches at an economy rate of 6.25 runs per over. He has also delivered with the bat when his team wanted him to, having scored 55 runs at an exceptional strike rate of 220.
