PSG ultras target Lionel Messi in Miami, unveil banner outside DRV PNK Stadium

PSG fans reveal an anti-Lionel Messi poster outside the DRV PNK Stadium ahead of his MLS debut for Inter Miami.

Before his MLS debut for Inter Miami, Paris Saint-Germain fans conveyed their feelings for Lionel Messi. PSG fans were spotted in Miami with a “finally rid of the rude” sign.

Messi made his Major League Soccer debut in spectacular fashion. The superstar scored the game-winning goal in front of a raucous away crowd of Inter Miami fans.The goal was enhanced because Messi not only created but finished it in the 89th minute of the game.

However, before the game, his former PSG supporters made their displeasure over the Argentinian star’s departure clear. They erected an anti-Messi flag in front of the DRV PNK stadium.

“Finally rid of the rude”, the banner read.

The Ligue 1 giants felt they had successfully pulled off a heist when they convinced seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi to Parc des Princes. However, the Argentine superstar struggled to make the required impact in France.

Messi did score 32 goals and assist 35 times in 75 games for Paris Saint-Germain, guiding them to two Ligue 1 crowns. However, Champions League triumph eluded him, and dissatisfied fans questioned his dedication to the cause.
