PSG Top Scorer: Kylian Mbappe PSG Leading Goalscorer: With his 139th goal in just 169 league matches, Kylian Mbappe surpassed Edinson Cavani’s tally and secured a crucial win for Paris St-Germain in a top-two clash against Lens, who were reduced to 10 men after midfielder Salis Abdul Samed was sent off just 19 minutes into the game.
In addition to Kylian Mbappe’s record-breaking goal, Lionel Messi and Vitinha also found the back of the net for Paris St-Germain before Lens’ Przemyslaw Frankowski converted a penalty.

Despite trailing 3-0 at half-time, second-placed Lens created several opportunities but could not capitalize on them, leaving PSG to edge closer to securing their 11th league title.

In March, Kylian Mbappe became Paris St-Germain’s all-time leading goal-scorer in all competitions when he scored his 201st goal against Nantes. Mbappe achieved this milestone in significantly fewer games than Edinson Cavani, who took 301 matches to score 200 goals, while Mbappe accomplished the feat in just 247 games.

PSG vs Lens in Ligue 1
Kylian Mbappe started off the scoring for PSG and Vitinha’s long-range shot doubled their lead in the 37th minute. Lionel Messi’s goal to make it 3-0 was truly spectacular, as the Argentine found a pocket of space outside the box, passed the ball to Mbappe, who then returned it with a backheel before Messi slotted it past goalkeeper Brice Samba and into the far corner.
With this convincing win, the reigning champions are now nine points clear with only seven games remaining, making it highly likely that they will secure their 11th league title and set a new French record.
