PSG New Manager: PSG are having a pretty difficult season even after having some of the best players in their arsenal. The club has also faced several controversies in the last season alone. It can be guessed that coach Christophe Galtier will not be remaining with the club past this season. There have been rumours that Roma coach Jose Mourinho will join them later. However, ‘The Special One’ has laughed off the rumours saying PSG couldn’t find him because they haven’t talked to him. Follow Ligue 1 LIVE Updates on InsideSport.IN.

There have been several rumours regarding who will succeed Christophe Galtier at Parc des Princes. Time and again, Roma coach, Jose Mourinho’s name has been brought up for the job. However, there have been no indication from the club and Mourinho was asked ahead of Roma’s Europa League fixture. He told Sky Sport Italia, “Paris Saint-Germain are calling to appoint me? If they’re looking for me, they didn’t find me because they haven’t talked to me.”

PSG have players, like Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Neymar Jr, Sergio Ramos, and more in their regular playing squad. However, they have been knocked out of all major competitions. They haven’t secured the Ligue 1 title either with only 4 matches left to play. On top of that, the team has suffered several bouts of controversies surrounding the players. The fans also have neither been kind to the players, nor the coach. There is a chance that following a disastrous season, PSG will let coach Christophe Galtier go.

PSG got knocked out of the Champions League in March as they were defeated 3-0 on aggregate by Bayern Munich in the round of 16. They could not get even one shot into the back of the net across the two legs. They got knocked out of the French Cup in February as Marseille defeated them 2-1 in the round of 16. The only competition they could rely on to earn any silverware was Ligue 1 where they actually had a good enough point gap at the top of the table.

However, since the players came back from the World Cup at the start of this year, their form started dropping. Since January, they have drawn 1 and lost 5 league games. After dropping points in so many games, they are now sitting at the top of the table with 6 points ahead of the second-placed Lens. That’s why they still have not reserved the Ligue 1 title. Even though their only hope of silverware remains in Ligue 1, they still look shaky. They still have 4 matches left to play with no guarantee that they’ll win the league.

Because of such poor performances, PSG fans have not been happy with the team. They are booing their team’s best players. They even reached Neymar Jr’s house in France to threaten the player. They have demanded the sacking of coach Christophe Galtier as well. There is a chance that coach Galtier will leave after the end of the season. However, the confirmation has not yet come from either the club or the coach. Still, there have been rumours of Jose Mourinho joining the club for some time.
