Pro Kabaddi PKL 8- Top 5 raiders of PKL 2022: After almost two years of inaction, the Pro Kabaddi League is finally back this year with all the thrills and action. The entire edition is being held for the first time at a luxury hotel in Bengaluru in a bio-secure bubble, barring the entry of spectators and all the 12 teams are battling it out with each other to win the coveted trophy.

The eighth edition of the tournament is already into its third week and we have seen terrific performances already this year. Let’s take a look at the top five raiders of the season so far.

Pro Kabaddi PKL 8: Dabang Delhi KC aim to regain top spot on Triple Panga night against U.P. Yoddha

Naveen Kumar – Dabang Delhi K.C. [106 POINTS]

From being the first player born in the 2000s to play in the Pro Kabaddi League when he made his debut in 2018 to becoming the first player to score 27 consecutive Super 10s, Naveen Kumar has come a long way. In the six matches that he has played this season, he has already accumulated 103 points becoming the first to reach the three-figure mark this season. Earlier this season, he also became the fastest and the youngest player to reach 500 raid points in the history of the league.

Pawan Sehrawat – Bengaluru Bulls [90 POINTS]

Leading the Bengaluru Bulls, Pawan Sehrawat has had a terrific season so far. In the seven games so far this year, The Bengaluru he has scored 90 points including 5 Super 10s. The skipper’s excellent form is also one of the main reasons for Bengaluru topping the table. The highest scorer of PKL 6 and 7 is continuing his impressive form this year and it looks like the ‘High-Flyer’ has set the sights on the trophy this season.

Arjun Deshwal – Jaipur Pink Panthers [82 Points]

Despite his team’s poor showing this year, Arjun Deshwal has emerged as the star raider for the Jaipur Pink Panthers. In the six games he has played, he scored Super 10s in all the matches and remains the only player apart from Naveen Kumar to have scored six successive Super 10s this year.

Maninder Singh – Bengal Warriors [72 POINTS]

Maninder Singh is currently on the fourth spot on the raiders list. The seasoned campaigner has been scoring consistently for over three seasons now and this year too he is continuing to showcase his rich form. He has scored 72 points in the 6 games that he has played so far this season which also includes 3 Super 10s.

V Ajith Kumar – U Mumba [48 POINTS]

Having made his debut in the 2019 season where he showcased his skills brightly by scoring 121 points that year. Ajith Kumar is once again having a terrific season this year. This time he is playing for U Mumba. In the six matches he has scored 51 points and is currently the top-scorer for U Mumba. Alongside Abhishek Singh, he has emerged as the key raider for his team.
