Pro Grappling: Rose Namajunas vs Gillian Robertson
The fight was supposed to last 10 minutes, but Robertson immediately dragged Namajunas to the ground, positioned herself on her back, and locked on the rear-naked choke submit. The grimace on Namajunas’ face said it all as she swiftly tapped out before perhaps getting choked out from the submission after Robertson got her arm under the chin.
It was a strong performance from Robertson, who also holds the record for six submission victories in UFC women’s division history.
