Premier League, Arsenal: Fans of Arsenal can now purchase tickets for the team’s last match against Wolves, but the cost is astronomical, with each ticket priced at £53,000. The supporters hope to witness Arsenal clinch the Premier League championship on May 28th.

Although Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City has a game in hand, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal team is currently leading the Premier League title race by eight points. The Gunners are eager to capture their first league championship since 2004.

The enthusiasm among the Arsenal fan community is so high that some opportunists have listed their tickets for resale on various websites, making enormous profits. At present, the only way for supporters to obtain tickets is through the secondary market, where they must pay over a thousand pounds for a single ticket.

Premier League: How expensive is the ticket?

A single pair of lower-tier seats are available for an astounding £53,000 each, which is a significant increase from the standard Centre Upper ticket priced at £131.

Although Arsenal fans are thrilled, fans of other clubs joked that some supporters will be paying a premium to watch their team finish in second place.

One tweeted: “Everyone who sells a ticket for more than 50% above face value should be fined…

While a second added: “Its a shame really the working class getting frozen out of the sport that they make soo special.
