JiDion, a Twitch Livestream, encouraged some of his viewers and supporters to launch a “hate-raid” against fellow streamer Pokimane on January 12. JiDion was banned from Twitch for 14 days after the incident, which resulted in Pokimane’s stream being cut short. Twitch said that JiDion had broken its terms. The streamer’s account was authenticated on the website only a day before he was banned, despite having a large following on YouTube for years. The hate raid dispute between Twitch streamers JiDion and Imane “Pokimane” Anys is heating up, and platform icon Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is now caught in the middle. Pokimane alleged that Ninja tried to help Jidion “evade” his Twitch ban in a section from one of her streams that went viral. Pokimane confronts Ninja in a viral video released by E-Sports broadcaster Jake Lucky. Ninja allegedly promised to assist Jidion by “texting” his “Twitch representative” to see if he could help cut the other streamer’s ban short, according to Pokimane. Poki then shared a screenshot of private communication with Jessica Blevins, in which she mentions Jidion and Ninja’s conservation.

Jessica allegedly wrote a DM message on Twitter, according to the screenshot supplied by Pokimane. Jessica’s verified Twitter handle has the same display picture as the screenshot. Ninja’s team is considering legal action, according to the message, and Pokimane’s allegations are false.
In the middle of her stream, Ninja decided to send Pokimane a Twitter DM, contradicting all of the claims she’d made minutes before.
Pokimane, was already in deep trouble the week before after being banned from Twitch for live-streaming complete episodes of Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender. This infringement of Nickelodeon’s parent company Viacom’s copyright has called into question Twitch’s copyright policy, which appears to be changing in the future as a result of the criticism and controversy Pokimane’s actions sparked.
