The Season of Heritage in Pokemon GO has finally entered its last phase of the story. Spark believes that he needs an electric-type Pokemon to unlock the final mechanism of the mysterious door located inside the historical cave site. For this event, electric-type Pokemons will be more readily available in Pokemon GO, making it resemble the power plant regions of Kanto and Kalos. Here are all the details that you should know about this event.

The debut of new Pokemons

Helioptile will be the latest Pokemon to debut in the game. Its evolution form, Heliolisk will also be added to the game with it. Unfortunately, the shiny Helioptile has not been added yet by the developers. Trainers can evolve their Helioptile into a Heliolisk by having 50 Helioptle Candy along with a Sun Stone.

Wild Pokemon encounters

Pokemon GO trainers will be able to encounter the following Pokemons while exploring the wild.

  • Magnemite (also its Shiny variant)
  • Grimer (also its Shiny variant)
  • Voltorb (also its Shiny variant)
  • Electabuzz (also its Shiny variant)
  • Porygon (also its Shiny variant)
  • Trubbish (also its Shiny variant)
  • Helioptile

Some additional rare Pokemons can also be found occasionally in the Wild.

  • Electrode
  • Jolteon

Raid Pokemons

These are the Pokemons who will be appearing in different Raids in Pokemon GO.

  • One-Star Raids
    • Pikachu (also its Shiny variant)
    • Beldum (also its Shiny variant)
    • Shinx (also its Shiny variant)
    • Blitzle (also its Shiny variant)
    • Klink (also its Shiny variant)
  • Three-Star Raids
    • These Pokemons will be available in three-star raids between 15th January 10:00 AM to 24th January 10:00 AM local time.
      • Scyther (also its Shiny variant)
      • Typhlosion
      • Mawile (also its Shiny variant)
      • Druddigon (also its Shiny variant)
    • These Pokemons will be available in three-star raids between 24th January 10:00 AM to 1st February 10:00 AM local time.
      • Dewgong
      • Piloswine
      • Monferno
      • Druddigon (also its Shiny variant)
    • Five-Star Raids
      • Genesect (Shock Drive) with the attack Techno Blast will be available in five-star raids between 15th January 10:00 AM to 24th January 10:00 AM local time.
      • Regice with the attack Thunder will be available in five-star raids between 24th January 10:00 AM to 1st February 10:00 AM local time. There is also a rare chance that you can encounter a Shiny Regice.

Field Research Task Encounters

When the trainers complete their Field Research Tasks, they will be able to encounter the following Pokemons.

  • Magnemite (also its Shiny variant)
  • Voltorb (also its Shiny variant)
  • Electrike (also its Shiny variant)
  • Joltik
  • Helioptile

If the trainers are lucky, they might also encounter rare Pokemons like:

  • Alolan Grimer (also its Shiny variant)
  • Trubbish
  • Emolga

A Bad Feeling event 

The Season of Heritage will also have an ominous event as Spark begins to have a bad feeling that something unexpected is going to happen as he tries to open the last mechanism of the mysterious door.

This event will begin on 24th January at 12:00 AM local time. During this event, the following bonuses will be available:

  • Team GO Rocket will be appearing more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons.
  • You can use a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration.
