In the current Power Plant event, Spark has realized that something bad is soon going to happen. It looks like Team GO Rocket have become aware of the mysterious door and is looking to use the power behind it for nefarious purposes once Spark opens the third mechanism of the door. Team Go Rocket Strikes: Time Duration and Bonuses
This event will begin at 12:00 AM on 24th January and will continue till 10:00 AM on 30th January. These are the local times of each player.
During this event, Pokemon GO trainers will also receive the following bonuses:
- Team Rocket will be appearing more frequently near Pokestops and balloons on the map.
- Trainers can use a Charged TM to help a Shadow Pokémon forget the Charged Attack Frustration during this event.
- The Team GO Rocket grunts will be providing different types of Pokemons now. Similarly, even Sierra, Arlo, and Cliff will be using different Shadow Pokemons.

Team GO Rocket Strikes: New Shadow Pokemons
Trainers need to help Spark, Blanche, and Candela to defeat Team GO Rocket and rescue the Shadow Pokemons. The following Pokemons will appear in the Shadow forms and trainers need to defeat Team GO Rocket Grunts to save them.
- Shadow Hippopotas
- Shadow Whimsur
- Shadow Totodile
- Shadow Cyndaquil
- Shadow Chikorita
- Shadow Voltorb
The following Pokemons seem to be available from the Team GO Rocket Leaders:
