PMWI 2022 Afterparty Showdown Day 1: PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022 Afterparty Showdown final got underway yesterday with all its might. A total of 12 teams started battling for a massive prize pool of $1,000,000. Day 1 of the Afterparty Showdown featured a total of 6 matches and two show matches (duo only). Alpha 7 Esports secured the top spot after the conclusion of the opening day with 76 points, while DAMWON Gaming KIA and Team Falcons are the leaders of the chasing packs. With two Chicken Dinners and 49 points, DAMWON Gaming placed itself in the second position. Meanwhile, Team Falcons are close behind at 48 points. Stalwart Esports and Vampire Esports claimed fifth and seventh place, respectively, while Bigetron RA and 7Sea Esports secured eighth and twelfth place, respectively. Here is the daily winners of Day 1.

On the other hand, Day 1 also featured two ShowMatches, in which 7Sea and Stalwart Esports emerged victorious. However, the points from the ShowMatches will not be counted in the overall standings.

PMWI 2022 Afterparty Showdown Day 1: Summary

The first match of the PMWI Afterparty Showdown began on the Erangel map with Damwon Gaming securing a four-kill Chicken Dinner, courtesy of their two-star players, Ssung and FOREST.

The second match was played on a small map, Livik, in which S2Gbagged the chicken dinner with 10 eliminations. 7Sea, who was presenting India, got eliminated very early in the match.

Alpha7 came up with a spectacular display in the third match, securing an easy chicken dinner with a whopping 19 kills. They were dominant throughout the match, which helped them to reach the top of the leaderboard. 7Sea claimed second place with 2 eliminations,

S2G managed to get their second Chicken Dinner with four kills in the fourth match, played on Karakin, yet another small square map. Vampire Esports’ performance was impressive throughout the match, but they, unfortunately, lost their final battle against S2G.

DAMWON Gaming once again made their mark by clinching the chicken dinner in the fifth match, played on the Sanhok map. They bagged 14 elimination while 7Sea Esports went down against Vampire very early in the match.

Alpha7 Esports maintained their consistency dominating the sixth match and securing a Chicken Dinner with 8 kills. DAMWON Gaming came in at runners-up place with three finishes.
