This made him a great attraction for IPL teams also and he was picked by Punjab Kings for more than Rs 4 crore.
Moises Henriques’ International Debut: Moises made his international debut as far back as 2009. This was in a T20 match at Sydney against New Zealand. He made his ODI debut later that same year also.
Moises Henriques’ Test Record: Moises really grabbed the attention of the cricket world when he made his Test debut against India at Chennai in the first Test of an ill-fated series for his team. He played a very impressive innings on the first day and scored a half-century. But after failing in the next two matches, he was dropped and only managed to play one more Test, in 2016.
Moises Henriques’ ODI Record: The Australian all-rounder has played just 13 matches in a career spanning over 11 years. His last ODI came against India in December last year. His success in the Australian domestic circuit would keep him in running for a place in the side.
Moises Henriques’ T20 Record: Oddly, despite having been successful in the T20 format of late, Henriques’ career in the international version of the shortest format is also very underwhelming. But things may change. He has a good average of 31.42 with the bat in his 14 matches.
Moises Henriques’ IPL Record: The 34-year old has appeared in seven seasons of IPL but his last experience of the league was in 2017. Ironically, that was his best season as he scored three fifties and averaged 46.16. His comeback in the IPL would be keenly watched.
