Though he doesn’t get the kind of extravagant movement that Anderson does, he gets enough swing from the right areas to make a mark. Check Chris Woakes Test Record, ODI Record, T20 Record, IPL Record, IPL salary, News, Career, Age, Delhi Capitals (DC), IPL 2021
Chris Woakes’ International Debut: Woakes seems a perfect Test bowler but he first came into international cricket through the T20 format. He debuted in a T20 match in February 2011 in Australia against the home team.
Chris Woakes’ Test Record: Though he made his debut in 2013 Ashes in England, Woakes established himself as a top-class bowler in the 2016 home season. His record in England has been superb. However, like Anderson, he hasn’t always succeeded away from home.
Chris Woakes’ ODI Record: In his debut series in Australia, in early 2011, Woakes picked up a 6-fer in one of the matches. But for the longest time, he wasn’t a regular member of the ODI team. When England started building a new team after their 2015 World Cup debacle, he started playing more regularly and became a very dependable bowler by the time 2019 World Cup came about.
Chris Woakes’ T20 Record: The shortest format of the game hasn’t been favourable to Woakes. The last of his eight matches in T20I cricket was played in 2015.
Chris Woakes’ IPL Record: Woakes played in the 2017 and 2018 season of IPL. He hasn’t done badly and his record is overall good. After missing the action for three years, he may get another opportunity in the 2021 season.
