Pawan Sehrawat has broken his own record in the Pro Kabaddi League Auctions. The Indian skipper yet again became the most expensive player as he was bought by the Telugu Titans for a record-fee of 2.6 crores. Last year, he created the record of the most expensive buy as he fetched a 2.26 crore contract with Tamil Thalaivas. Check out the costliest buys at the auction in the last three editions.

Pawan Sehrawat – 2.26 crores – 2022
Having earned the name “High-Flyer” for his amazing raiding abilities, Pawan Sehrawat became the costliest player in the last year’s auction. He was the first-ever players to breach the 2 crore mark. Tamil Thalaivas bought him for a jaw-dropping 2.26 crores.
He was a surprise inclusion in the auction itself that year. Bengaluru Bulls released him unexpectedly as he has been an integral part of the side all through over the previous editions.
Pawan Sehrawat could however play only one game in the last edition as he suffered a knee injury in his first match for Tamil Thalaivas. He has now been released by the franchise and once again he is expected to fetch a big amount in this auction.

Pardeep Narwal – 1.65 crores – 2021
Pardeep Narwal broke the record for the costliest buy in the Pro Kabaddi League auction in 2021. He was bough by the UP Yoddhas for a whopping 1.65 crores back then.
Nick-named the Record-breaker for his incredible raiding prowess, Narwal’s fee surpassed the record that Monu Goyat set in the Season 6 of the league. Goyat was bought by Haryana Steelers for a record fee of 1.51 crores in 2018.
Having now featured for the UP Yoddhas in the last two edition, the star raider has been retained by the franchise ahead of this year’s auction.
Siddharth Desai – 1.45 crores – 2019
Ahead of the Season 7 of the Pro Kabaddi League, Star raider Siddharth Desai was the costliest buy in the auction. Telugu Titans purchased the player for 1.45 crores, which was the second costliest buy in the league’s history back then.
Siddharth Desai made his debut in the league only in the previous edition in 2018. He played for U Mumba and impressed with his raids scoring 221 points. Playing for Telugu Titans in 2019, he impressed yet again with 217 raid points in that edition.
However over the last two years, he has suffered numerous injuries and has not been able to replicate his performances of 2018 and 2019. He ha been released by Telugu Titans ahead of the auction this year.
