Jaipur Pink Panthers clinched the title by defeating Puneri Paltan in the summit clash on Saturday, 17th December 2022. Througout the league, every player has given their best to help his team perform well on the mat. In this sport, raiders play a very crucial role and this season saw several raiders doing exceptional job, helping their team immensely. Jaipur Pink Panthers’ Arjun Deshwal is the top raider of the season. There were also notable performances from players like Bharat, Naveen Kumar and Narender Hoshiyar . Arjun Deshwal
Arjun Deshwal has had a terrific season for the Jaipur Pink Panthers. He is flying high in the raiders leaderboard by racking up the maximum raid points in the league. He has scored 296 raid points from 24 matches this season. He also has 17 Super 10s to his name, which is the most by any player in this edition of the Pro Kabaddi League. Arjun’s contributions has played a very major role in helping the Panthers win the title. Duly, his contributions earned him the Most Valuable player of the year award.
Bharat
Featuring in just his second season in the league, Bharat gave a terrific performance in the raiding department for the Bengaluru Bulls. He emerged as the team’s top raider with 282 raid points to his name. With his performance, he pipped his senior teammate Vikas Kandola. He also had 16 Super 10s in the league, which is the second most by any raider in this edition. His performances helped his team reach the semifinals. However the Men in Red failed to enter the final.
Naveen KumarNaveen Kumar
Like the previos seasons Naveen Kumar yet again finished as one of the top raiders in the league. Playing for Dabang Delhi with the added responsibility of captaincy, he collected 254 raid points in the league. He also collected 16 Super 10s in the league. His one-man show helped his tem secure a spot in the playoffs. However it was not ebnough as the defending champions bowed out from the tournament after losing the eliminator.
Narender Hoshiyar
Tamil Thalaivas’ Narender Hoshiyar is definitely the find of the season. Playing in his maiden Pro Kabaddi League season, the youngster had to fill in the shoes of Pwan Sehrawat after the latter was ruled out due to injury. The youngster did the job to perfection as he picked up 243 raid points in just 23 matches. His performances helped him finish as the fourth best raider in the league. It also played a major role in helping the Thalaivas enter their maiden playoffs. The team’s fairytale run however ended after their loss in the semifinals.

Maninder Singh showcased a terrific one-man show for Bengal Warriors this season. The defending champions were carried entirely by the skipper who has put up a terrific raiding display whenever he steps onto the mat despite the lack of support from other raiders. With no support from other raiders, the team eventually lost out on a spot in the playoffs. Maninder has accumulated 264 raid points in 22 matches and is third on the list of raiders with maximum raid points.
