PKL Sponsors – Season 8: VIVO is in last year of its 5 year contractual relationship with the league. The title sponsor of IPL is shelling out 60 Cr for Season 8 of PKL.
Tata Motors & Dream11 who also are the IPL Sponors are paying in a range of 14-15 Cr for PKL relationship.
A23, M-Fine & Byju’s are the new associate sponsors on board for this season. As per the information available they are paying in a range of 8-9 Cr for sponsoring PKL 2021.

PKL Season 8 Format changed, triple headers introduced for the 1st time
Format Changed for Season 8: As a special format for PKL Season 8, organizers have scheduled ‘Triple Headers’ on the first 4 days.
This season will feature ‘Triple Panga’ driven by Triple Headers on all Saturdays through the course of the tournament.
The triple-headers will be only-Saturday affairs throughout the whole duration of the league. On the day of triple-headers matches will start at 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm respectively.
Season Opener: PKL Season 8 will begin with U Mumba facing Bengaluru Bulls in the tournament opener.
The League’s ‘Southern Derby’ will then take centre-stage as Telugu Titans lock horns with Tamil Thalaivas in the second match. UP Yoddha will square off with the defending champions Bengal Warriors in the last match of the opening day.
The release of the season’s second-part schedule by mid-January is also expected to help PKL Teams assess and rebuild their competition strategies for the second half of the tournament.
