In PKL 2021-22 season 8 auction, the most expensive player was India’s Pradeep Narwal. He was bought for Rs. 1.65 Crore by U.P.Yodha. He has now become the highest paid player in the history of Pro Kabaddi League. He has previously played for Patna Pirates in all the seven seasons so far.
The salary which Pradeep Narwal will be getting this year is more than that of Pakistan National Cricket team skipper Babbar Azam who plays for Karachi Super Kings in the Pakistan Super League. Last season, his PSL team Karachi Super Kings included him in the Player’s Platinum Category list. In this T-20I league, the player who is in Platinum Category gets the highest salary of $1.7 million, or Rs. 1.24 crore. Babar Azam has been appointed as the captain of the Karachi Super Kings for the Pakistan Super League 2022.
