PKL 2021-22 12 Captains: The eight edition of the Pro Kabaddi League is all set to kick off from December 22, 2021 and the match will start from 7:30 pm. The most expensive player in the season 8 Pro Kabaddi League was Pradeep Narwal. He was bought by U P Yodha for Rs. 1.65 crore from Patna Pirates. The season’s opener is between U Mumba and Bengaluru Bulls. The defending champions Bengal Tiger will be playing their first match against U.P.Yodha. Surjeet Singh is an Indian Kabaddi player and is recognised as one of the best defenders in India. He has earlier played for U Mumba and for Puneri Paltan as well. He plays in the right cover position. He specialises in blocking and dashing opponents. Surjeet has the fifth most number of High 5s-16 , from just 50 games. He achieved this feat in the fifth season.
Joginder Narwal [ Dabang Delhi KC]
Joginder Narwal was elected as the captain of the Dabang Delhi side for one more season. Last season he took his team to the finals but there they lost to Bengal Warriors in the final. He is a defender and plays at left corner. He has also played for U Mumba and Puneri Paltan.
Rohit Gulia [Gujarat Fortunegiants]
Rohit Gulia is a professional Kabaddi player and plays for Gujarat Fortunegiants in the Pro Kabaddi League. He made his debut in 5th season of VIVO Pro Kabaddi League with Gujarat Fortune Giants. Do or Die raid is his speciality. In the 5th season, his 35 raid points was the third highest of the season.

Deepak Niwas Hooda [Jaipur Pink Panthers]
Deepak Niwas Hooda is an Indian international Kabaddi player and plays for Jaipur Pink Panthers in the Pro Kabaddi League. He primarily plays as a raider but he is a talented versatile player as he can play an all-rounder role too. He has earned the title “Dubki King” while playing Kabaddi. Hooda also has multiple Marathon Man of the Match awards. He shines in the most challenging situations and had the most do or die raid points in the PKL season 5.
Neeraj Kumar [Patna Pirates]
Neeraj Kumar is a professional Kabaddi player and plays for Patna Pirates in the Indian Super League. Earlier he has played only one season in the PKL so far in the 7 seasons played so far for Haryana Steelers in the PKL season 5. His 12 successful raids has created an average of 26.53% which is also 0.7 tackles per match.
Nitin Singh Tomar [Puneri Paltan]
Nitin Singh Tomar is an expert professional Kabaddi player and is currently playing for Puneri Paltan in Pro Kabaddi League. He is a raider and has become one of the best raiders in Kabaddi. He has its own signature move which is “Running Hand Touch.”
Nitesh Kumar [Tamil Thaliavas]
In this season of Pro Kabaddi League, Nitesh Kumar is playing for Tamil Thaliavas and he is leading the side too. In his debut season, he showcased his skills and made sure that he left an impact in the league. In the season 6 of PKL, he became the first player to score 100 tackle points in a season as the youngster finished as the top defender of the league. His record remains intact with no other player coming that close to scoring 100 tackle points in one season. He also scored eight High 5s that season to lead the way there as well. For his fantastic performance, he was named as the ‘Best Defender of the Season’.

Abozar Mohajermighani [Telugu Titans]
Abozar Mohajermighani is an Iranian international Kabaddi player who plays for Telugu Titans in the Pro Kabbadi League. He plays either on the right cover or the left corner. He is a formidable defender who strikes panic into the raider with his intimidating and aggressive approach to the game. Abozar’s signature move is the back hold where grabs hold of the raider’s torso from behind and immobilizes him.
Fazel Atrachali [U Mumba]
Fazel Atrachali is an Iranian professional Kabaddi player and plays for U Mumba in Pro Kabaddi League. He is one of the successful foreign players in this league. In the 4th edition of the VIVO Pro Kabaddi league, he won the award for the best defender of the Season award. He is the highest-paid foreign player in the Pro Kabaddi league.
Rohit Kumar [Bengaluru Bulls]
Rohit Kumar is an Indian professional player and plays for Bengaluru Bulls in the Pro Kabaddi League. With his glaring pace and thunderous raids, he has become a nightmare for the opposing teams and he is a well known athlete across India. He has also proved his leadership ability and capacity to remain calm under pressure over the years.

Dharmaraj Cheralathan [Haryana Steelers]
Dharmaraj Cheralathan will be playing for Haryana Steelers and will also be leading the side too. He is the maestro in Kabaddi and has an experience of more than 20 years. He is one of the most habituated defenders in this game. He has also played for Bengaluru Bulls previously. In season 2, he scored 42 tackle points and 19 raid points which took his team Bulls to final but they lost to U Mumba in the final.
Rishank Devadiga [U.P.Yodha]
Rishank Devadiga will be playing and leading U.P.Yodha this year too. He made his debut for his home team U Mumba. In season 5 he went to U.P.Yodha. His speciality is in do or die raids. He was one of the reliable players for U Mumba after their skipper Anup Kumar.
