Dabang Delhi will be a team to watch out for in the Pro Kabaddi League Season 10. After winning the title in Season 8, the team lost in the Eliminator in the last season. Having picked a strong team at the auction this year, they will be eager to go all the way to bag their second title. InsideSport does a SWOT analysis of the team ahead of the upcoming season.

Strengths
One of the biggest strength for the Dabang Delhi is the presence of prominent raiders in Naveen Kumar, Ashu Malik, Manjeet Sharma and Meetu Sharma. A lot was riding on the shoulders of Naveen in the past seasons as he was single-handedly leading the side in the raiding department. However this season he can breathe a little easy as he has able support in the other three aforementioned raiders.
The team has also bolstered its defence by acquiring the services of the experienced Vishal Bhardwaj and Sunil Narwal from the auction this year. The duo’s experience in the corners will come in handy for the side.

Weakness
While the raiding department is strong, it lacks the variety. Naveen, Ashu, Manjeet, Meetu and Ashish are all right raiders. There is lack of option for a left raider.
Vishal Bhardwaj’s form will be crucial to the team. Despite being part of the Indian team that won the gold in the recently concluded Asian Games, he went unsold at the auction initially. Delhi picked him up only after his name reappeared at the auction in the end. In the last season, he scored just 44 tackle points while playing for Telugu Titans.
Opportunities
If one thinks of Dabang Delhi, Naveen Kumar immediately comes to the mind as his performances have lifted the team in the last few seasons. This year, the team’s new signings like Meetu, Vishal Bhardwaj, Sunil Narwal will have an opportunity to make a name for themselves representing Delhi.

Threats
While the raiding department looks strong, the same couldn’t be said of the defence. The team bought a lot of defenders at the auction. However apart from Vishal Bhardwaj and Sunil Narwal there is a lack of experience. In case of Vishal or Sunil failing to step up, the team might struggle in the defence.
