Strengths

Bengaluru Bulls comprise of strong raiders in Bharath and Vikas Kandola. Bharath emerged as the team’s best raider last season with 279 raid points. The experienced Vikas Kandola meanwhile was retained by using the FBM card at the auction.

The team also have good back-up raiders in Neeraj Narwal, Abhishek Singh Bunty and Monu that make the raiding department of the side look ruthless.

The defence is also well-loaded with experienced players like Aman and Saurabh Nandal. At the auction they also acquired the services of the experienced Ran Singh and Surjit Singh. This make the Bulls a well-rounded outfit.

Weakness

There isn’t much of a weakness to point out for Bengaluru Bulls. However the form of Vikas Kandola might be one of the concerns for the side. The veteran managed to score just 135 raid points in the previous season, which was his lowest since 2017.

If Vikas fails to step up, young Bharat will need to carry the burden on his shoulders. Also incase of injuries to key players, the dept of the squad will be put to test.

Opportunities

Other teams would definitely be wary of the Bengaluru Bulls. Especially having a strong team on paper, the 2016 champions will be looked upon as favourites in most of the matches. It might give a slight psychological edge to the team over their opponents.

There are a variety of raiders and all-rounders available for the Bulls. With this, the team can also surprise their opponents by trying new combinations that will also give them an added advantage.

Threats

With lots of options available, picking the right team and combination will be a challenge. Coach Randhir Singh will have some selection headaches ahead of every match.

Also with this being a long league, it will be very challenging to maintain momentum and consistency throughout. Especially after faltering in the semifinal over the last four editions, the team will be under pressure to deliver this time around.
