Best UFC Petr Yan Knockouts
Jose Aldo had instances at UFC 251 where he might win the UFC’s two divisional championships. But in the end, Petr Yan might have ushered in a new era in the lighter-weight divisions.
Yan (15-1 MMA, 7-0 UFC) earned the UFC’s new bantamweight champion with a fifth-round Stoppage of previous featherweight champ Aldo (28-6 MMA, 10-5 UFC). The halt occurred at 3:24 in the last frame.
Yan beat Aldo mercilessly to claim the championship left vacant by Henry Cejudo earlier this year and prevent Aldo from becoming the next UFC champion in a different weight division. The battle was relatively tight for the first three rounds before the Yan turned it on and poured it on in the fourth and fifth.

Petr Yan knockouts vs Urijah Faber
Petr Yan’s sixth triumph came against Urijah Faber, one of the sport’s most seasoned veterans. In December 2019, the two men engaged in combat at UFC 245. The fight’s tempo was set mainly by Petr over the first two rounds, with Faber spending most of that time on his heels and Yan searching for a good opportunity.
Yan downed Faber halfway through the second round with a wonderfully timed straight two-punch combination. Thankfully, a bleeding Faber stood back up. A little while later, Yan down “The California Kid” once more with a sneaky elbow shot in the clinch. By the time round two was over, Faber’s face was severely damaged.
A well-timed knee from Petr early in the third round knocked Faber to the ground again before the referee intervened to stop the contest, giving Yan his ninth straight victory and 14th overall. Now, “No Mercy” will attempt to unseat another great to become the UFC’s newest 135-pound monarch.
