Paul Pogba Future: Juventus star Paul Pogba could be the next man to play in the Saudi Pro League. The European transfer window is closed but Saudi’s transfer window is open. Two Saudi clubs are planning to sign the 30-year-old midfielder. We can see the last-minute acquisition of the Frenchman.
The former Man United midfielder had a disappointing return to Juventus. He came back to Torino last season but his best version was missing for the Old Lady. He made his first appearance in Serie A in three months as a substitute when Juventus played out a 1-1 draw with Bologna. Pogba is yet to improve his match fitness and he is recovering from an injury.
As per Gazzetta dello Sport, Paul Pogba may consider the move to the Saudi Pro League. Two big clubs, Al-Ahli and Al-Ittihad are still trying to sign the Frenchman before their transfer window ends on September 7. Pogba is willing to stay at Juventus but the club is looking to off-load him due to his heavy wages. Initially, Paul Pogba rejected any attempts by Galatasaray to talk to him.
Paul Pogba is also out from the French squad which is targeting the Euro 2024. Didier Deschamps also talked about the omission of Paul Pogba: “I believe in him and in his ability to find his best level, he has the mind and the experience. And if he finds his best level, he will again be an important candidate for the France team.”
This week is crucial for Saudi clubs in pursuit of Paul Pogba and they have to figure out the offers as soon as possible. Meanwhile, he has turned down 4 offers from Saudi and Qatar. The Transfer window will close down on September 07. It depends on Al Ahli and Al Ittihad to push for the World Cup winner before the deadline day. Paul Pogba may struggle to find regular time at Old Lady considering his fitness but he will stay.
