Ahead of the Asia Cup, Pakistan Cricket Team has revealed their World Cup 2023 kit. The special kit that Babar Azam and co will don during the ICC World Cup was revealed on 28th August at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Babar Azam and Co are set to brandish a stylish and dashing jersey.
The PCB is leaving no stone unturned in making this event a grand affair. Zaka Ashraf, the Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board is set to be the Chief Guest for this event. Pakistan has gone for the retro type in their kits with the jersey’s having collars.

PCB took to social media to hype this event where they posted a graphical image of the upcoming kit. As per reports in Pakistan, there are major doubts regarding the presence of Babar Azam for this event.

As for the Pakistan Cricket Team, Babar Azam and Co have returned to their country after winning their 3-match ODI match series against Afghanistan in Sri Lanka. Following a whitewash against the Afghan side, Pakistan has now acquired the ICC ODI Number 1 rankings.
Pakistan will kick start their Asia Cup 2023 Campaign against Nepal on 30th August at Multan. Following this they will go toe-to-toe with arch-rivals India on 2nd September at Kandy in Sri Lanka.
After the conclusion of the Asia Cup comes the mega event, the ICC World Cup. Reports in Pakistan claim that Babar Azam and Co are to depart for Hyderabad on 28th September to begin their preparation and take part in the World Cup Warmup games that commence from 29th September. Pakistan are scheduled to start their World Cup campaign when they take on Netherlands on 6th October.
