Sri Lanka Women had started well and were 58/1 at one pint of time. But after Chamari Attapatu was out for 41, they lost the plot and Sohail came into her own. They were eventually bundled out for 112 runs in the 19th over of the game.
It was the poor display of the middle order and the lower order, which cost Sri Lanka women the game. However, Pakistan batters also need to applauded for their patience. If Nida Dar scored important 26 runs, the finishing touches were applied by Ayesha Naseem. The latter scored quickfire 5-ball 16, else the game was staring at a tight finish.
