International cricket resumed in Pakistan on Monday with the three-match T20I series against the visiting West Indies. And, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) allowed 100% spectator capacity at the National Stadium in Karachi to make it even more memorable.
Unnecessary hassle and mismanagement:
It was expected that the series will attract fans in huge numbers but it turned out to be different. Most of the stands were vacant and the attendance in both 1st and 2nd T20I was pretty low. Reports suggest that the fans were not treated well and had to wait in long queues. The gates were closed even 15-minutes before the start of the play.
