One of the fastest bowlers in the world, Haris Rauf had Bas de Leede flustered with his raw pace and potency. The Pakistan bowled a 142kmph short ball which hit Bas de Leede straight on the helmet.
The Dutch batsman immediately removed his helmet as the physios ran to the scene to check in on the all rounder. Play was stopped as doctors stepped onto the field to treat the injured de Leede.
The Netherlands star was conscious but showed signs of concussion. Nonetheless, he was taken off having suffered a cut right below his eye.
De Leede also suffered a concussion and was replaced by Logan van Beek who came in as a concussion substitute.
