Opting to bat first to test the batting, Pakistan posted a daunting total of 189/2 against Namibia. Despite having a slow start, adding just 29 runs in the powerplay, The Men in Green amassed 130 runs off the last 10 overs, including 51 of the last three. The opening duo of Babar Azam & M Rizwan was once again the chief architect and slammed another century stand.

While Pakistan skipper Babar Azam looked good from the start, M Rizwan was little cautious in the beginning and also struggled to find gaps. While Babar scored 70 off 49, M Rizwan returned unbeaten on 79 off just 50 balls, scoring 24 runs in the last over. M Rizwan slammed 8 fours and 4 sixes in his ballistic knock and propelled Pakistan to a daunting total of 189/2.

Coming to chase, 190 runs target was a mountain too high to climb for Namibia. They faced a big blow when Hasan Ali removed opener Michael Van Lingen cheaply in the second over. However, Stephan Baard & Craig Williams tried hard to catch up with the required run rate. Stephan Baard after a composed 29 off 29 balls walked back to the dressing room in the 9th over after getting run out.
Imad Wasim removed Gerhard Erasmus in the 13th over. Craig Williams followed his countryman in the next over. JJ Smit was dismissed in the 17th over as Namibia slumped to 110/5. In the end, Namibia fell short 46 runs short of the target.
