Overwatch 2 Beta: Starting June 28, until July 18, players will have the opportunity to join the next phase of beta testing for Overwatch 2. The next phase of beta testing will feature a new tank hero Junker Queen, a new hybrid map Rio, and support for players on Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Developers have shared a lot of information over the past few weeks on their plans leading up to this beta. Devs will begin giving access to players from July 15. Players who buy the Overwatch 2: Watchpoint Pack on a participating platform will get immediate access of beta.
The Overwatch 2 Beta will be available for cross-platform play. Players can play the upcoming game on Windows PC and Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 consoles.

Purchase the pack and get access to the beta version of the game. After purchasing the pack, players will receive multiple items in the game, like the following:

The primary goal of the Overwatch 2 Beta release is to test the console and cross-play capabilities. Players from different platforms can play the game with and against each other.
As Competitive Play is currently unavailable in the Overwatch 2 beta, developers have made a temporary modification to the Quick Play queue. It will provide both Role Queue and Open Queue as options for players. Players can use competitive rulesets for each map’s game mode while playing Quick Play Games. All other features of Overwatch 2 Quick Play are unchanged.
