To ensure he is in prime position when he reaches Paris for the 2024 Olympics, the 26-year-old has been trying to maintain a perfect balance between match readiness and rest. He’s played just three events so far in 2024. He won gold in two: the Federation Cup and the Paavo Nurmi Games.

Future Prospects
On August 8, at the age of 26, Neeraj Chopra could already be a 2-time Olympic gold medalist. If he does so, he’ll become India’s greatest-ever Olympic athlete. Only two Indians have claimed two medals at the Games, and neither has won a gold.
With age on his side, the javelin star has a chance to play in at least two more Olympics. Of course, he also has the chance to win many more medals at the Diamond Leagues, World Championships, Asian Games, and Commonwealth Games.
