Tokyo Olympics bronze medallist boxer Lovlina Borgohain has been seeded 8th in the upcoming Paris Olympics 2024. Borgohain, who will be one of India’s main hopes of a medal from Boxing in the summer games, will most probably face a tough opponent in the quarter finals. Borgohain, who is seeded 8th, will likely face Li Qian of China in the quarters.

Lovlina to face tough bout?

Two-time Olympic medallist Qian, who has won three medals from the World Championships, including a gold one, defeated Borgohain in the Asian Games summit match last year. A few weeks ago, Lovlina lost to the same opponent in the final of the the Grand Prix Usti nad Labem in the Czech Republic.
