ICC ODI World Cup 2023 Tickets Prices to be finalised by July 31

On Thursday in New Delhi, after a meeting with the state associations, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah said that the sale of tickets would only start after the entire process of re-scheduling had been carried out. He asked that by July 31 each state body notify the Indian board of its finalized ticket prices.

Shah had nevertheless suggested that in order for spectators to enter the stadium for its main events, printed tickets will be needed.

In addition to the stadium, the Indian board will designate additional collection points in each city so that spectators may pick up their World Cup 2023 tickets before the tournament starts on October 5.

The ICC and BCCI will each receive 300 free hospitality tickets as needed for each game. Furthermore, the state must provide the ICC with 1295 tickets for league games and 1355 tickets for the matches against India and the semifinals.

The state association is required to give the Indian board 500 free general admission tickets to the ODI World Cup in 2023. In the event that the ICC (250 hospitality and 1800 general tickets) and BCCI (300 hospitality and general stand seats each) elect to purchase more, the BCCI has recommended the state to provide additional hospitality tickets.

In addition to these caps, each state association may purchase an additional 40 tickets for each game, with the remaining 10% being purchased by the ICC tour partner.
