Bangladesh pacer bowler Ebadot Hossain once again posed troubles for the Blackcaps at Hagley Oval. The incident occurred during the ninth over. The review decisions showed the ball sliding down the leg side and going over the top of stumps.
This is the third instance that Wayne Knights has made a blunder in the ongoing Test series. Earlier, he denied Neil Wagner a wicket in the first test when he was a TV umpire. He was involved was in a controversy in the first Test. He had ruled Wagner’s wicket-taking delivery as no-ball, saying that the foot had landed behind the popping crease.
Meanwhile, Tom Latham & Will Young gave a terrific start to New Zealand in the second Test. The duo gave a century opening partnership to Kiwis as they look to comeback against Bangaldesh after trailing 0-1 in the ongoing Test series.
