Trash-talking and psychological tricks have been prevalent in the world of combat sports over the years. There have even been some excellent trash-talkers in the UFC, such as Chael Sonnen and Colby Covington.
Conor McGregor, the former UFC double division champion who is renowned as a master of trash-talking and hyping his fights, is the closest comparison. One UFC fighter, though, begs to differ. In response to the Dagestani’s mockery of Tony “El Cucuy” Ferguson, he recently praised the Irishman’s tough opponent Khabib Nurmagomedov as the “Best Trash Talker” in a tweet.

‘The Notorious’ use of mind tricks and trash talk is frequently received with strong reactions. In contrast, ‘The Eagle’ strikes the audience as a smart and engaging trash-talker, in part due to his unusual accent and the language barrier. Because of this, the Dagestani’s admirers are constantly interested in hearing what he has to say, and he frequently astounds them with some astute comebacks. ‘El Cucuy’ was up against this during the UFC 223 pre-fight news conference.
Ferguson’s battle with the former UFC lightweight champion was originally slated for UFC 223 in April 2018. The lightweight pair engaged in some humorous back and forth during the pre-fight conference before their fight.
Belal Muhammad of the UFC, who has sparred with Nurmagomedov before, is still a fan of the Dagestani. He paid attention to the press conference and uploaded a little video of a verbal altercation between fighters located in the United States and Russia. The “best trash talker” according to him was “The Eagle.” Mohammed penned, “Khabib was the best trash talker.”
While Dagestani’s trash-talking has provided followers with many amusing and cheerful moments, some members of the community might not think he is the best trash-talker. The Notorious is sometimes praised as the sport’s top trash talker since he has a knack for stirring up his rivals.
