‘No Zimbabwe, No Party’, Netizens troll World No. 1 Babar Azam after his 18-ball 5 in PAK vs NED

Fans on Twitter were relentless in trolling Babar Azam who fell cheaply in Pakistan's World Cup opener against Netherlands.

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam was trolled brutally after falling cheaply in PAK vs NED World Cup clash at Hyderabad on Friday. Babar scored 5 off 18 balls before getting caught at short mid-wicket.

After being put to bat, the 28-year-old walked out after the dismissal of Fakhar Zaman. While fans were expecting another Babar masterclass on a flat deck, the Pakistan skipper disappointed his fans after he mistimed a pull shot and got caught.

Notably, Babar Azam was coming into this game after scoring a brilliant 90 against Australia in the warm-up. However, the star batter struggled to get going against Netherlands and was eventually dismissed while going for a big shot.

Earlier, Netherlands skipper Scott Edwards won the toss and opted to bowl against Pakistan in the World Cup 2023 match on Friday.
