Pakistani anchor Zainab Abbas has been reportedly deported from India. As a result, she will not be able to cover the ongoing ICC World Cup. The news comes after her old anti-Hindu remarks against the country. Pakistani media reports she has been deported from India and is currently in Dubai.
Zainab Abbas has denied the allegations levied upon her and has claimed that she has been unfairly called out and has left the country citing security concerns
The Pakistani sports presenter was included in the ICC Presenter’s list. But her old Anti Hindu remarks have stirred controversy. A couple of days earlier, a field cyber complaint against Zainab for her Anti Hindu and Anti India remarks on X (formerly known as twitter.)

Supreme Court lawyer Vineet Jindal filed the complaint against the Pakistani Presenter. He took to social media to post a report of the complaint.
“Complaint against @ZAbbasOfficial filed by Advocate & Social Activist @vineetJindal19 with cyber cell Delhi Police.Requesting to lodge FIR under section 153A,295,506,121 IPC and sec67 IT Act for making derogatory remarks for Hindu faith and beliefs and for anti -Bharat statements. Zainab must be removed from list of presenters on immediate basis from ICC World Cup by @ICC & @BCCI.Anti Bharat people are not welcome in Bharat. @HMOIndia @ianuragthakur @JayShah #ICCCricketWorldCup #icccricketworldcup2023 #Pakistan #Hindus #Bharat #ICCWorldCup2023 #ArrestZainab,” he wrote on Twitter.
Vineet Jindal claimed that the tweets which are now almost 9 years old were posted by an account named Zainablovesrk which has now been changed to Zainab’s account. Under these circumstances, Zainab Abbas who was presenting the ongoing ICC World Cup 2023 has been deported from the country.
