NO NIGHT FLIGHTS! Team India DEMANDS better travel planning after long DELAY

The Men in Blue's flight was scheduled to depart at 11 pm, but took off at 3 am, causing them to arrive in Barbados by 5 am.

The Indian cricket team has reportedly expressed their dissatisfaction with the travel arrangements from Trinidad to Barbados following the IND vs WI 2nd Test. According to IndianExpress, tired Team Indian members had to wait for more than 4 hours to board the flight. The Men in Blue’s flight was scheduled to depart at 11 pm, but took off at 3 am, causing them to arrive in Barbados by 5 am, disrupting their preparation for the upcoming matches.

The team management has reportedly lodged a formal request for improved planning when traveling to their next destination, urging authorities to schedule morning flights instead of late-nights.

Players request a day-off

Following the delayed flight and fatigue, several key players approached the Indian team management to request a day off from practice in Barbados. The management is considering their plea to ensure the players are well-rested for the upcoming ODI series starting from July 27 in Barbaos.

The players who were exclusively selected for the Indian ODI squad, including Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Sanju Samson, and Umran Mallik, have already reached Barbados and will soon join the rest of the team.

The Indian team is scheduled to fly back to Trinidad late on July 29 to play their third ODI, which is set for August 1.

Team India secured the Test series on Monday after rain washed out the final day of the India vs West Indies 2n Test i Trinidad.

India’s ODI squad: Rohit Sharma (Captain), Shubman Gill, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Virat Kohli, Surya Kumar Yadav, Sanju Samson (wicket-keeper), Ishan Kishan (wicket-keeper), Hardik Pandya (vice-captain), Shardul Thakur, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Jaydev Unadkat, Mohd. Siraj, Umran Malik, Mukesh Kumar.
