Earlier the federation took to twitter to request for a permission!

“Hi @mo_ipc @SportsBoardPak. Would love it if you can provide us with an update on the NOC for the SAFF Championships which are all set to start in India on the 21st. We plan to travel on the 18th. Hoping to get the clearance so that we can manage things accordingly.” the tweet from PFF read.

Earlier , the PFF also issued a video in which the players asked the PSB and the foreign office to speed the process of awarding NOCs. The PSB, on the other hand, claimed in a tweet on its official Twitter account that the PFF failed to submit the requisite paperwork for the NOC on time.

Earlier, a PSB official acknowledged to ‘The News’ that documents were recently presented with the PSB that lacked the needed information for issuing of NOC to travel overseas, particularly in India. He asserted that there is a certain protocol and time period for requesting NOC that must be followed.

“The team is to take a trip to India for the South Asian Football Championship. You need a special NOC for the tour to India and besides the Interior Ministry, the permission from the Foreign Office will also be required. The submitted papers lacked required documents and information. In fact, these documents were more about sharing information rather than seeking NOC from the government. We have asked them to submit fresh documents,” the PSB official said.
