Things are not good at PSG
On Wednesday, a group of fans were recorded chanting for the club’s board to resign outside the team’s headquarters. Later, another footage surfaced showing a different group of supporters visiting Neymar’s home and demanding that he leaves the club.
Fans were reportedly expressing their disappointment towards Lionel Messi as well, as they were heard chanting for the football star to leave. This was seen as an escalation in the fans’ previous behavior, where they booed Messi during home matches.
The club later released a statement and said they ‘most strongly condemn the intolerable and insulting actions’.
“Paris Saint-Germain most strongly condemns the intolerable and insulting actions of a small group of individuals that took place on Wednesday,” a club statement read. “Whatever the differences of opinion, nothing justifies such actions.
“The club gives its full support to its players, its staff and all those targeted by such shameful behaviour.”

If selected by PSG coach Christophe Galtier, Lionel Messi will have three more games left to play for the club after serving his suspension. These games will be against Auxerre, Strasbourg, and Clermont, which will mark the end of his time in France.
Throughout his tenure at PSG, Messi has scored 31 goals and provided 34 assists in 71 matches.
