Taking to his Instagram handle, Virat wrote, “We hope everyone is blessed with joy and happiness this new year. We send you our love and positivity.” Along with his note, Virat shared a lovely photo of Anushka and him posing together at the New Year bash in South Africa.
In other photos, Virat along with the entire squad including KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant, Cheteshwar Pujara, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Ajinkya Rahane, Mayank Aggarwal, Ishant Sharma and others could be seen posing together. Anushka also was seen enjoying with other cricketers’ wives at the get-together.

The New Year Eve marked the first New year celebrations for Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s child Vamika. Sharing a glimpse of their celebrations and wishing their fans, Anushka wrote on Instagram, “The year that got us the greatest happiness I’ve known. So, deepest gratitude 2021, thank you!” The picture shows the couple posing in front of the cake at the New Year party hosted at their hotel.
Virat and Anushka welcomed their daughter Vamika on January 11 last year. Anushka and Vamika were in the stadium on Day 4 and Day 5 and Virat even waved to the two of them from the field. A fan video showed the cricketer waving to them but the camera did not show Vamika in the frame.
