MVP WWE: Check Out What motivated MVP to return to the ring

Revealing the reason for his return to the ring during the 2020 Royal Rumble Match MVP stated “It was meant to be a one-off. It was supposed to be.”

He continued “I enjoyed telling the story, my son, who’s 8 now. At that time was 4 turning 5, and he had become a wrestling fan. And I remember we were standing in the toy aisle at Target or Walmart, something like that, and we were looking at the action figures and he was like, ‘You know Daddy, that’s so and so’. And as he’s saying this, I’m thinking, these are my colleagues, these are friends of mine and then it hit me, man. I want my son to see Daddy hanging up in the aisle. So I gave Paul Heyman a call and asked Paul Heyman If I could be a surprise entry in the Rumble and he said Done. We didn’t talk about money or pay. The only thing I wanted was floor seats, for my son, so that he could see Daddy in the ring and Heyman said Done.

Also, MVP returning at the Royal Rumble gave rise to speculations that the WWE Superstar has signed a new deal with the company. However, MVP took his Twitter handle to squash the speculations.

He wrote “People keep asking me about the “deal I signed” with WWE. I never signed a deal. I came back so that my son could see me wrestle in person and for him to see me wrestle his favorite wrestler. As usual the industry leeches are reporting misinformation as fact.

MVP also took his Instagram handle to share a post. Check Out.

However, as per the current scenario, MVP works as a manager of Omos. But, he recently appeared in an interview, where he stated that he hasn’t retired from in-ring action. He also said that, though he is not as eager to get into the ring as he once was if it’s necessary, he is still capable of doing it.
