Among the active players, premier Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has played 34 matches while explosive Australia opener David Warner has 32 games under his belt.
The star Indian batter accomplished this feat during his side’s Group 2, Super 12 against South Africa at Perth. Skipper Rohit did not impress on his record-breaking 36th appearance, scoring only 15 off 14 balls with a four and six. Now, Rohit has made 36 appearances at the tournament from 2007 edition onwards till the present. The Indian captain and Shakib AL Hasan are the only players to have featured in every edition of the T20 World Cup.
